Does anyone have operating manuals for The Cybernetic Micro Systems 8051 Family Assembler and Simulator? I have Versions 3.04 and 3.1, respectively.

Didn't you get help menu in software? try that.. probably manuals are in built in software.

The assembler and simulator are DOS programs that I used years ago in a university class that I developed and taught. There was a paper manual that I loaned to someone, and now can't get back. BUT, I just looked at the text book that I wrote for the class, and I had included enough to get me by -- set breakpoints, examine lower 128, and the like.
The class I inherited used SDK51, which was so frustrating because it was hard to tell the SDK operating system from the operation of the 8051, so I redeveloped the class from the ground up. We wrote in assembly, burned EPROMs, breadboarded little circuits, and probably most important, learned to read datasheets. Not too shabby for mechanical engineers. This was the '80's. Intel provided data books. The Hillsboro, Oregon Intel campus is just a few miles from the university.

I doubt you will get those manuals anywhere in soft format. I did go to cybernetic micro systems website but I could only find chip and kit manuals but not software related manuals. Rather they are telling everyone to use Keil
