Automatic School Bell System with Speech Synthesizer alarm and RTC

this is our final year project and we are using Mplab Hi Tech C compiler. we are also using the Emic 2 TTS for the speech. it will tell the time every hour and the date in the first hour. we are having trouble on how to interface the DS1307, PIC16f877a, Emic 2 TTS, switches, and Relay.

please help us to finish this project it will be a great help for us...

Where are you finding difficulties, as you see, you need to have been knowing something about PIC programming in order to start this project. the datasheet you attached also shows a clear way of serially sending commands to the text to speech module. If you want to start pic programming, you might want to see some books. Please elaborate where exactly you're finding difficulty. is it regarding interfacing a specific component or in whole as where to start project from???

we get the idea from the code given in the industrial and domestic timer posted here.. and all that is troubling us is that where to insert the code of the text to speech module... we are not using computer, just PIC. we have code for the TTS. and one thing that we are having trouble with, is the speaking every hour and every 5 min. before the relay will trigger...

i suggest you to start with basics
not to insert your code in another code
that would be difficult at initial stage to remove errors
so try to understand things and make your own code that would be more easy for you
take a codes here from this site as a reference
