Sorry !! Forgot to mention..It's for micro-controller series 8051, PIC, ARM etc. and also WINCE Drivers for ARM9 and Cortex Series...

I dont think there is any book that explains this. Its just the controller's data sheet that explains you how to use that device or peripheral. Though I have no idea about WINCE drivers. If you're working on linux then take a look at Linux device driver 3rd edition. Its free to download

Actually there are driver generators available..Please have a look at the attached file....

okay... but you dont need generators coz today every silicon vendor provides basic device drivers for their platforms. So you can get all sort of sample codes and driver from controller's product page itself.

When we say write a driver for LED blinking, what do we actually mean?
I mean for till date i have just written a C code or ALP for LED blinking.

This you will understand automatically if the coding is large and coding fluency is more..
