Interfacing RF transmitter with PC

I want to display the data sent through wireless using RF transmitter and to receive it and then display it in LCD using microcontroller 8051.The data would be send using PC.I want to know which is the suitable method to interface RF transmitter with PC.

RF transmitter modules comes with UART interface. so you can make use of PC's COM port and connect that module to PC and you can send data as per your requirement

the methods depends on your module...
