hello everyone!
i want to make a small software using which we can program 8051 without writing code.
how it will work:
we draw some logical diagram on this software, and it then converts that diagram to
c language code file for 8051 which the can be compiled and burned into 8051(something similar to "Ladder work" software which is used to control a PLC made with 89c51)
i dont wish to take it to high level as it will become very tough.i just want to implement some basic logics.
at this time i just have idea and searching for it.i know its not impossible to do...
wat do u think about it???
i need ur suggestions and help......
so plz help me doing it
thanx in advance!!

hey abbas.. i was firware engineer with the company MicroShadow who own this software.. you can also find my own written application notes there on the ladder work homepage..

we need to write basic low level code which is further dependent on the inputs given by the software you are going to make...

you can try making a code generator, which only generates the code for 8051 based controller. I am not sure how you are going to implement the condition stuff.. is there anything you have in mind?

I mean first we need to decide what components we are going to add.. only then we can do something.. because the final codes are to be based on components placed on that work sheet.. lets make it simple.. we add i/o ports.. and timers for now..

Abbas i really appreciate your innovative mind but i wanna say is i can only give you help and guidance right now, i really want to work on this innovative project but i am busy these days some designing stuff going around.. will quickly start with u as i finish that work..

you need to make an IDE looking thing.. a worksheet.. on which u can place an item.. there is so much to do.. try googling to get some info on how to make that worksheet... or whatever u want to say..
button to select an item.. i think that is the first thing we need..
