Hello!
I'm currently working on a 8051 project. My project now is to interface Ethernet to 8051 so that the 8051 can be accessed using TELNET.
Can you give me some reference?
I really don't know where to start.

Hi halley,
Actually there are two methods to do this.. one is to get an Ethernet module with onchip TCP/IP stack, so is easy to work and program it...
second method is to interface just an Ethernet controller and writing TCP/IP stack on your controller. This method is a little difficult as you have to take care of so many things, you can get a software TCP/IP stack from Adam Dunkels website (http://www.sics.se/~adam/)
He has written a very good light weight TCP/IP stack. But i recommend you to go for an Ethernet module, easy to interface and program. And these days.. they are not too costly i think.
